SHELL SACKS 1,500 WORKERS

The Shell petroleum Development Company have recently dismissed 1,500 of its workers.This development has led to mass action by other employees under the auspices of Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers, NUPENG.

In an interview granted by the National Deputy President of the body, Comrade Eddy Osaai who led others in the protest stated that the action of the Oil giant is unacceptable and they are bent on halting all it's activities until the decision is reversed

"We are not going to accept what Shell has just done to our members. Shell must not be allowed to get away with this" he said
