ZUMA HAS DONE IT AGAIN AS EX-WIFE EMERGES FIRST AFRICAN UNION CHAIRPERSON

NKOSAZANA DLAMINI-ZUMA

The Ex-wife of South-African president and present South Africa’s Home Affairs Minister, Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma has been appointed as the head of African Union.

Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma emerged as the first female head of the African Union after a second round of voting as she had a tie against the incumbent Jean ping of Gabon. Neither of the two candidates succeeded in securing the required two-third of votes at the January first round of election. This tie was a result of a serious polarity of the representative countries delegate as the Francophone countries supported Jean Ping of Gabon and the Southern English speaking supporting her.
